This is a fuse holder for standard 5mm x 20mm fuses. It is made by Schurter in Switzerland. 

The terminals are made of proprietary copper alloy, plated with gold.

We selected this part for the Platinum Edition of the VPS Power Supply, because Schurter fuse holders have the finest metallurgy of every fuse holder we tested.

Installation

This is a surface-mount component. It can be installed with a soldering iron (we do it) onto boards laid out for through-hole fuse blocks. The metal tabs under this block overlap the solder pads for typical fuse blocks, including our VPS kit.

The VPS kit uses 1 fuse block.
